I loved the game, but I encountered a couple of things you may want to look at.
7:50 There's an opening in the bottom-right of the room with the movable stones that the camera doesn't follow you into. I didn't fall through the world, or anything, and there seem to be platforms, so I assume it's supposed to be there.
14:50 The glyph didn't activate during the boss fight. The fairy snapped to it, but the animation didn't start. Releasing the button and pressing it again fixed it.
I very like the graphics, the game is not for all because it's hard, I try to go to the boss but don't have a save game option, I give you 3/5 stars, I played three times and it's frustrating.
You are not alone. π Some players feel it's quite hard, but some other said it is fun and challenging. we will consider to make a new option to change the difficulty of the game.
Ah, we will surely add the save game feature to the next build. Thank you for playing. π
Wow, this was great. The music, gameplay, and art were all fantastic. It was the first game in a while that scratched the same itch as Hollow Knight for me. I didn't expect the combat to be as fluid as it was, so that was a nice surprise as well. I was initially skeptical of controlling two characters but it works really well! I managed to complete the demo, and can't wait for more. Props to the developer! Definitely one of the best demos I've ever played on Itch.
that is too kind. this game is nothing compared to Hollow Knight (I'm a huge fan btw). thank you for your kind words. please feel free to give us feedback/suggestion. we would like to listen more to platformer/metroidvania fans. thank you for playing. π
The game is fine and the art looks cool. I think this should have better keyboard controls. I understand that the game was thought for remote control, but it would be good if this recognize if one is connected or not. About keyboards, space is more useful for jump, so i got a little confused xD. But besides that, everything else was beauty and fun, good work.
hi. sorry about that. the final product is supposed to automatically detect the input used by the player. so, if you are using keyboard, the tutorial will show "X" to jump instead of showing "A".
we thought the space key to jump is suitable for controlling with WASD. some platformer game like Celeste use C for jump. but sure, we will consider to add an option to rebind the keyboard keys. π
I didn't mind the keyboard controls because they were also similar to Hollow Knight. For some reason, when Wispy had taken over an enemy I would use space to jump though and then end up in spikes :P
Hi! I just played through the game yesterday and I absolutely enjoyed it. There were some issues I had with the game and I did full playthru and review of the game on my Twitch channel. I would love to give additional feedback in the future! I'd say the best part about the game is the aesthetic and how Wispy has so much hidden potential for really expanding the game. I can't wait to see what else you guys will create! Here's the link to the video
hi! thank you for playing. I've watched the video. and sure, feel free to contact me (via this page or discord) if you want to give any additional feedback later. π
don't worry, you are not alone! π some players feel it's quite hard, but some other said it is fun and challenging. we will consider to make a new option to change the difficulty of the game.
Hi!! Are you open to talk about your creation process of your game design? Im a video game student from Montreal, Canada and Im doing a research on video game design. We can do it during a couple of weeks to talk about your game and give it some visibility in the database of my research group for others who want to learn more about original design!
Awesome video! Your reaction to the spider legs is hilarious. π Watching people enjoying the game always gives us more motivation and energy. πͺ Thank you for playing!
thank you. such a great play, sir! currently, the story is made by.. well.. the programmer π. we probably need to hire a real writer to write the better story for this game. π
Great stuff! I sometimes had difficulty identifying what was able to be climbed, as the foreground often went over the midground and was sometimes the same colour as the ground. The mushrooms were very hard to identify, since they had an almost identical colour to the background. Another thing was the spikes that burst out of the floor (in the level and boss fight) didn't really have much warning.
I really loved the game though, looks frickin incredible. I hope these suggestions can make it even better!
Someone on our discord says the same about the difficulty to identify some foreground/background. We will try to fix it on the next build. Anyway, thank you for playing!
You are probably the first person that experienced the music bug. Anyway, that is a good playthrough. I genuinely laughed when I saw your reaction facing the spider the first time. π Thank you for playing!

16:25 End screen didn't trigger.
17:35 Game freezes when quitting from main menu.
My specs, if they matter:
AMD 3900X, 64GB RAM, NVidia GTX 1060 6GB graphics card.
Again, the game is absolutely beautiful and plays well, and I hope to play it again when it's complete! Thanks for making it!
7:50 It is supposed to be a hidden area but it's not ready yet and I forgot to block it. It allows you to go there but the camera won't follow.
14:50 It seems a little bug but people find it quite often. Not only in the boss battle, this bug may appear after possessing enemy.
16:25 I think something is wrong with the camera script so it won't trigger the end screen the first time. I will look into that.
17:35 Hey you are right. I didn't notice it before. I'm not sure what causing it but I will try to fix that.
Hell no. Your spec is more than enough to play this little game. π
Thank you for playing and your feedback is super useful!
Cool, glad to help! Good luck with the rest of the game!
I like the art stile but you can't save the game
Sorry for that. We will add the save game feature to the next build. Thank you for playing. π

The game looks amazing.
But sadly I am a linux user, is there a way you can export to linux?
+1. Wine can't beat the performance of a native build.
Sorry, there won't be a linux version for now. But since the game doesn't need so much resource I think using Wine will be fine.
Bro this game is so good The art work is really good Good job
Really great homepage! Will check out the game though not really in a genre I understand ...
You will get the hang of it. It's a quite simple platformer game. Happy playing! π
Awesome! Any chance of a mac version?
I'm sorry, for the demo build, there won't be a mac version. but the final version, it will be available for PC, Mac, and consoles. ππ
Ok cool, thatβs fine!π
Good graphic)))
I'm new to games like this, and I'm glad that this great game introduced me to these type of games! Keep up the good work! <3

Man.. you need to make Paid to this game.
its very good to be only free. Greetings and congratulations to you all ββ₯
it's only an alpha demo. the final version won't be free. but don't worry, it won't be expensive. ππ
Amazing :) haha

Hehe, programmers can write stories too! The ingredients for an epic tale are all there and I bet there's a twist about Kimo's origin. ;)
How did you make the graphics? Photoshop or etc. ?
Im an indie game developer so i wanted to know how to make better 2D graphics.
all graphics are made with photoshop π
Wow! great work! thank you for the answer! :D
