That was really cute! I would offer the feedback, though, that it seemed like I had to direct so much of my attention towards the bottom of the screen in order to see when to play the next note that I felt like I was missing out on all of the animations going on at the same time, which is a shame because when I could occasionally take a glance at them they were incredibly adorable!
It looks like you have already coded up the layout of your next game, so it might be too late to suggest this, but if you could find a better place for them then I suspect it would improve the experience a lot. For example, it might have been helpful if were semi-transparent and on top of the animations (maybe a bit below center), or placed in some other way that made it easier to see both at the same time without having to choose between looking at one or the other.
Anyway, just some food for thought that you are free to ignore if you prefer your current artistic choices and/or it would be too much of a pain to change at this point! Again, I really enjoyed playing this. 😀
